Washington Redskins 2011 Season Preview
Posted 8/18/2011
The Washington Redskins were one of the more active teams in free agency, but will the players they signed actually contribute enough to make a real difference?
Washington's best free agent signing was probably cornerback Josh Wilson, who flew under the radar last year with the Baltimore Ravens despite being arguably their top defensive back.
The team also signed a host of wideouts, including veterans Jabar Gaffney and Donte Stallworth. The team made sure to re-sign Santana Moss, who has been a dependable playmaker for many years in Washington.
The quarterback situation could be nothing short of a disaster, with John Beck expected to beat out Rex Grossman for the starting job. Why don't they just let me have a crack at the starting job?
Considering the situation under center, it's hard to see the Redskins going anywhere but to the basement of the NFC East.
