Philadelphia Eagles 2011 Season Preview The Philadelphia Eagles made all the noise this past offseason, signing Nnamdi Asomugha and a number of other quality free agents.

While Philadelphia's offense remains explosive, its defense is now something to fear as well. Not only do the Eagles have Asomugha, but they traded Kevin Kolb to the Arizona Cardinals for cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

The Eagles now feature one of the best, deepest secondaries in all of football, and they also made significant upgrades to their defensive line. Philadelphia signed pass rusher Jason Babin and added Cullen Jenkins to stuff the run and get after the quarterback.

Vince Young, who signed with the Eagles to be their backup quarterback, went as far as to call them the "Dream Team," a nickname that is now catching on quickly around the league.

This is a dangerous team, a heavy favorite in the NFC East and one of the top Super Bowl contenders.
