Indianapolis Colts 2011 Playoffs Preview
Posted 1/4/2011
The Indianapolis Colts come into the NFL playoffs riding high after winning their fourth straight game to lock up the division title.

Quarterback Peyton Manning didn't finish with the best numbers of his career, but he did an amazing job getting the Colts to the playoffs with the amount of injuries that have struck the team.

Their first round matchup is a rematch of last year's AFC championship game where the Colts played host to the New York Jets. Rex Ryan is really fired up for the showdown, but Manning has had a ton of success against his defenses throughout his career.

The two have faced each other enough that Manning has seen just about everything Ryan has to throw at him at this point.

The Colts need to be able to throw the ball and stop the run to get past New York. Mark Sanchez doesn't put a score into anybody, and there is literally no way the Colts are going to even attempt to run the ball against the Jets. It would just be a waste of time and effort.

The Colts could easily get past the first round, but they aren't going outside in the cold weather to either Pittsburgh or New England and coming away with a victory.
