Green Bay Packers 2011 Playoffs Preview
Posted 1/4/2011
The Green Bay Packers come into the NFL playoffs as the final team in the NFC, but certainly one of its most dangerous.

The Packers will travel to Philadelphia in the first round to face the Eagles, a team they already beat on the road earlier in the season. That should give them a lot of confidence heading into the game.

Green Bay is one of the teams that nobody wants to face in the playoffs. They have a strong defense, a great quarterback and a lethal passing attack. They are also motivated to avenge last year's first-round loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Philadelphia has a solid secondary, but Aaron Rodgers should still be able to move the ball consistently. Wide receiver Greg Jennings working against cornerback Asante Samuel could be the matchup of the day.

Look for the Packers to try and take a page out of Minnesota's playbook when it comes to slowing down Philadelphia's offense. I would expect a lot of different looks and exotic blitzes to confuse Michael Vick.

Green Bay's lack of a running game is a big concern, but they have a lot of the other tools necessary to make a deep playoff run. They are a darkhorse Super Bowl pick by many, and it wouldn't be a surprise if they made it to Dallas.
