Denver Broncos 2011 Season Preview
Posted 8/18/2011
The Denver Broncos were the worst team in the AFC West last year, and unless something drastically changes, they will likely struggle again in 2011.

Denver did get a very productive season out of quarterback Kyle Orton, but an injury sidelined him late in the season, allowing rookie Tim Tebow to make his much anticipated debut.

Tebow actually fared quite well in his limited action and caused a quarterback controversy heading into 2011. However, the team decided to stick with Orton as the starter after he significantly outplayed Tebow during training camp and the preseason.

The Broncos attempted to upgrade their running game in the offseason, signing Willis McGahee. The veteran running back has fresh legs after backing up Ray Rice for a few years in Baltimore and is the type of runner that should have success with the Broncos scheme.

That said, the defense is still a huge question mark and the offensive line is not what it once was, so another year in the cellar is likely for the Broncos.
