Cleveland Browns 2011 Season Preview The Cleveland Browns showed some reason for optimism last year and are hopeful that it continues into the 2011 NFL season.

Quarterback Colt McCoy eventually gained the starting role last year as a rookie and was better than expected. The Browns believe McCoy can be their starting quarterback for years to come and hope he takes the next step this season.

The team was also thrilled with the play from running back Peyton Hillis, who came out of virtually nowhere to land the starting job and finish with some of the best numbers in the league.

One area of concern for Cleveland will be the defensive side of the ball because they will have to replace coordinator Rob Ryan, who left for Dallas. Ryan did an outstanding job with limited talent and his presence will be missed.
