Baltimore Ravens 2011 Season Preview The Baltimore Ravens were one of the most active teams in the offseason, but that doesn't mean that they necessarily improved their team heading into the 2011 season.

The Ravens cut Todd Heap, Willis McGahee, Derrick Mason, and Kelly Gregg while also losing Le'Ron McClain, Jared Gaither, T.J Houshmanzadeh, Marc Bulger and Donte Stallworth.

That doesn't exactly sound like a recipe for success, especially for a team that seems to be loaded with talent but somehow just can't seem to find their way past the rival Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Ravens did add Lee Evans and Vonta Leach, along with several draft picks. Baltimore is hopeful that Joe Flacco takes the next step in 2011, allowing the team to finally get the Pittsburgh monkey off their backs.
