The Indianapolis Colts felt like they were finally completely healthy after being decimated by injuries last year.
I think they spoke too soon.
The team lost veteran center Jeff Saturday for the first six weeks of the season from a knee injury suffered in their final preseson game.
While Saturday isnt a skill play like quarterback Peyton Manning or wide receiver Marvin Harrison, he is one of the most important players on the team.
Saturday and Manning have a special chemistry together, especially when they go to the no-huddle offense.
Manning is also one of the least-hit quarterbacks in the NFL, and he has Saturday to partially thank for that. |
