The New York Jets dont care about all the drama surrounding quarterback Brett Favre or the fact he has been with the team for less than a month.
The Jets do, however, care about winning football games and challenging the New England Patriots in the AFC East.
The team has named Favre a captain, along with offseason free agent signee guard Alan Faneca.
Favre said he was honored that his teammates would select him as a captain despite being new to the team.
Favres teammates say they love the experience and veteran leadership he provides and believe he is the missing piece to a run to the playoffs. |
