The San Francisco 49ers missed out on an opportunity to turn some heads around the league in a 30-21 loss to the New England Patriots.
Quarterback J.T. O Sullivan showed he still has a ways to go, throwing for just 130 yards and three interceptions.
The 49ers defense kept them in the game, intercepting two passes from quarterback Matt Cassel.
However, the 49ers never really got their offense into a rhythm, as both the running and passing games were harrassed all day by New Englands defense.
San Francisco now must rebound and look ahead to next week as they try to save the job of their head coach. |
