Redskins hang on against Browns, 14-11

The Washington Redskins tried to give the game away before the Browns eventually gave it to them, 14-11. It was a big win for the Redskins, who were already coming off of a disappointing defeat at home against St. Louis. Once again, running back Clinton Portis led the way. He finished 175 yards rushing and a touchdown, although a late fumble almost cost his team the game. Quarterback Jason Campbell had another quiet day, throwing for just 164 yards and a touchdown. The defense ended up making key stops when it needed to, although the Browns wasted a number of golden opportunities.
