The Maryland Terrapins are hoping they can redeem themselves for their surprising loss to Middle Tennessee State with a win over the Virginia Cavaliers in Charlottesville this weekend.
The Terps overlooked MTSU, and they could also easily overlook hapless Virginia. The Terps just upset Clemson in Death Valley while the Cavaliers could barely stay within four touchdowns of Duke.
Maryland is determined to stay focused on the task at hand and not look ahead to a potentially huge game with Wake Forest just two weeks away.
Head coach Ralph Friedgen has stressed to his team the importance of preparing for each and every game the exact same way, and I expect the Terps to be ready to play.
Maryland takes this one, pulling away in the second half, 34-17. |
