Washington Redskins defensive end Jason Taylor will miss teams upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It will be the second consecutive game Taylor has missed after suffering a calf injury against the New Orleans Saints. What seemed like a minor bruise at the time eventually necessitated a small surgical procedure to reduce blood pressure ins his leg. Taylor has been able to get out on the field and run, which is more than head coach Jim Zorn expected he would do at this point. The team is hopeful they will have him back in another week. The Redskins will certainly miss Taylors presence out on the field as a pass-rusher who can chase down elusive quarterback Donovan McNabb. |
