Ed Tapscotts debut on the sidelines worked well for at least one game, as the Washington Wizards rolled over the Golden State Warriors, 124-100.
The win snapped a five-game losing streak for the Wizards and gave them just their second victory on the season.
Caron Butler led the way for Washington with 35 points and eight rebounds.
He joked after the game that their new coach is just like Obama, sighting his light skin, newness to the area and the big words he uses.
Antawn Jamison said the team knew they needed a win bad and really fed off of the energy from the new coach. |
