Milwaukee Bucks point guard Mo Williams had surgery on his right thumb to repair ligament damage.
The team expects Williams to be fully healthy in time for the start of the 2008-2009 season.
Williams will be fitted with a splint for six weeks, at which time he will be able to resume basketball activities.
He averaged 17.2 points and 6.3 assists per game in the first season of his six-year contract. |
