The New Orleans Saints knew that defense was a priority coming into the draft and addressed those needs.

With the No. 7 overall pick, the New Orleans Saints snared defensive end Sedrick Ellis. I liked how the Saints moved up in a trade with the Patriots to get a player very comparable to Glenn Dorsey.

They were then able to grab cornerback Tracy Porter in the second round.

I also liked the drafting of wide receiver Adrian Arrington in the seventh round.
