The Florida State Seminoles are hoping to turn things around this season after several subpar years, but they have received some bad news.

Starting left tackle Daron Rose has been ruled ineligible for the 2008 season.

He started 11 games at the position last year.

He is expected to attend a junior college to regain his eligibility, and a redshirt freshman will replace him in the starting lineup.
