Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams thought he was set to be the starter following the release of DeShaun Foster.

Then came the NFL Draft, and the Panthers used the No. 13 overall pick to select running back Jonathan Stewart.

Stewart is a more physical runner who will be a slight change of pace from the smaller, faster Williams.

Williams said he isn’t bothered by the fact that he will likely split carries with Stewart and doesn’t change his mind-set whether he is the main guy or not.
