The New Orleans Saints are still very much interested in New York Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey.

Head coach Sean Payton desperately wants the team to make a deal for him.

Payton, an offensive minded head coach, believes the only piece missing from their already explosive offensive is a playmaking tight end.

The Saints would likely look to give up future draft choices to acquire Shockey, although they were unable to get anything done before this year’s NFL Draft.
