The Washington Nationals have recalled pitcher Jason Bergmann from Triple-A Columbus.

Bergmann was 0-1 with an 11.68 ERA in three starts, but will get the ball on Thursday against the New York Mets.

In a corresponding move, the team optioned pitcher Chris Schroeder back to Columbus.

He had three appearances with the Nationals, pitching to a 2.25 ERA.
