Former Detroit Lions running back Kevin Jones has visited with the New England Patriots.
Jones was cut by the Detroit Lions in the offseason after they ran out of patience with the chronically injured running back.
The Patriots are pretty well set with Laurence Maroney as their starter and Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk serving as backups.
However, Maroney has shown that he isnt a 25-30 carry per game running back and Morris and Faulk are both getting older and have shown to be vulnerable to injuries.
The only problem is, Jones seems very vulnerable to injuries as well. |
