The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the Arizona State Sun Devils in 2013 in the new $1 billion stadium being built by the Dallas Cowboys.

The game will be played on October 5.

The stadium has a retractable roof and is scheduled to open in time for the 2009 season.

Other big games expected to be played at the stadium include the Super Bowl, the Cotton Bowl and the Big 12 championship game.
