Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison has denied he had any role in a shooting in North Philadelphia last month.

Harrison said he told head coach Tony Dungy and team president Bill Polian that he was not involved.

Owner Jim Irsay didn’t seem convinced, saying he was keeping his fingers crossed that Harrison was not involved in the shooting and that no charges will be filed.

Harrison has not been charged with anything yet and no arrests appear imminent.
