Houston Texans offensive lineman Charles Spencer took to the field for the first time in nearly two years at the team’s minicamp after breaking his left leg.

The leg injury was so severe that doctors thought Spencer’s career was over.

Spencer said he is excited to show the coaches what he can do and plans on reclaiming his starting job.

For now though, he just wants to take things one day at a time and continue to improve.
