Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Jason Schmidt made his first rehab start, going one scoreless inning in Class A ball.
It was the first time Schmidt had pitched since undergoing shoulder surgery last June.
The team hopes he can return at some point this year, but they arent holding their breath given Schmidts extensive injury history.
Schmidt has two years remaining on a three-year, $47 million contract he received in December 2006.
