After a number of recent decommittments and transfers, the Maryland Terrapins and head coach Gary Williams are in a world of trouble.

Recruiting analysts say therer is nothing on the horizon for Maryland and that they will need to just pack things in and try again next year.

At this point, the Terps will be stuck playing with the cards that they have entering the 2008-2009 season, and those cards aren’t exactly aces and kings.

Some analysts feel the Terps have just run into a combination of bad luck combined with a tough run of assistant coach leaving for other jobs, while others say Williams and the administration have done a poor job of bringing in players.

Either way, next season could be a real tough one for the Terps and their fans.
