If there is one player who couldnt have been happy with the Carolina Panthers offense over the past few seasons, its wide receiver Steve Smith.
Smith was the teams only real weapon and found himself constantly fighting double teams.
However, entering 2008, Smith is thrilled with his new surroundings.
In the offseason, the team brough in former teammate Mushin Muhammad as well as wide receiver D.J. Hackett.
They also added some help along the offensive line in the draft and overhauled the until earlier in the offseason. The Panthers also drafted a running back to split carries with DeAngelo Williams.
Now Smith will be able to see more single coverage and should really benefit. |
