Denver Broncos center Tom Nalen underwent knee surgery but is expected to be ready in time for training camp in July.
The surgery was not considered to be serious and Nalen is in top shape, so head coach Mike Shanahan said he should be able to get back out on the field in about two weeks.
Nalen suffered a season-ending triceps injury in Game 6 last season. He is a vital part of the teams offensive line, especially with the inexperience they now have at running back after Travis Henry was cut.
He has played in 194 games, including 188 starts, which is the third most in franchise history.
