San Francisco Giants pitcher Noah Lowry could miss the rest of the season because of his surgically repaired forearm.
Lowry was shut down for an indefinite period after feeling tingling in his forearm after throwing 30 pitches during a side session on April 30.
With the Giants nowhere near being a playoff contender and the young pitcher being a significant building block for the teams future, they will take no chances with Lowrys arm.
The teams athletic trainer said that Lowry is making progress in his rehab, but that it is just coming along very slowly and the pitcher is getting frustrated. |
