The Oakland Raiders have signed former Nebraska Cornhuskers quarterback Sam Keller to a contract.
After losing a couple of backup quarterbacks in the offseason, Keller could land as the teams third-string guy.
Keller was not drafted in 2008 despite setting a school record for completion percentage last season for a team that was nothing short of terrible.
A shoulder injury ended his season prematurly in October, which may be the reason why nobody wanted to draft him.
Andrew Walter is expected to be the backup quarterback to starter JaMarcus Russell. |
