It appears that San Diego wide receiver and punt returner Eric Parker’s days with the team are coming to an end.

It is reported that Parker will either be traded or released by the start of training camp in about three weeks.

Parker did not play last season after undergoing surgery on his big toe in October.

The team traded for wide receiver Chris Chambers last season and has developed other wide receivers and punt returners since then, making Parker expendable.

It is expected that Parker is 100 percent healthy this year and will be able to pass a physical.
