The Tampa Bay Rays are currenty 48-32 and just a half game behind the Boston Red Sox for first place in the American League East.

Everyone keeps expecting this team to fold, but despite their inexperience, there may be just too much talent for that to happen.

The starting pitching and the bullpen have been the team’s strong points, especially over the past month or so.

B.J. Upton has really been scuffling at the plate, while fellow outfielder Carl Crawford may be breaking out of his season-long slump after a hot week at the plate.

The team will need both of those guys to act as catalysts for the offense the rest of the way.
