The Baltimore Orioles are currently 41-39 and in fourth place in the American League East.

It was a terribly disappointing weekend for the Orioles, who lost two close games to the lowly Washington Nationals.

Losing the series to the Nationals was not only disappointing from a rivalry standpoint, but the team had just taken two out of three from the red-hot Chicago Cubs in Wrigley Field.

Part of the team’s problem is their current pitching situation, as injuries and ailments have left them vulnerable in the starting rotation.

However, help may be on the way in the form of Adam Loewen’s return from the disabled list with an elbow injury.
