Top seed Maria Sharapova has been upset by Dinara Safina at the French Open.

Sharapova did not go down quietly, losing 6-7 (6), 7-6 (5), 6-2.

She said she was very angry afterward at her performance, saying she had way too many unforced errors and should have been ripping balls for winners.

The tournament is now up for grabs with some of the top seeds eliminated.
