Miami Heat center Alonzo Mourning said he wants to play one more year.

Mourning suffered severe leg and knee injuries last year that forced him into season-ending surgery.

At the time, Mourning said the combination of the significance of the injuries and his age made retirement inevitable.

However, the center seems to have changed his tune in the offseason and hopes his body can withstand one final season.
