The New York Mets are currently 34-36 and in fourth place in the National League East.
With their record below .500, it didnt take long for manager Willie Randolph and the rest of the club to begin feeling the heat after last years late-season epic collapse.
The team finally made changes, firing Randolph along with two other coaches and named Jerry Manuel the manager for the remainder of the season.
Unfortunately for the Mets, those guys just coach and dont actually play. Now if the Mets could just get some of their aging veterans to somehow revert back to their prime, they might have something. |
