The Cleveland Indians are currently 33-38 and in fourth place in the American League Central.

The Indians had been trading places with the Chicago White Sox for the top two spots in the division for much of the season before their struggles in June.

Cleveland continues to have problems at the plate, which is not something that was anticipated before the start of the season.

Designated hitter Travis Hafner is still out of the lineup with a shoulder strain and his progress is said to be slower than expected. The good news is that Hafner’s struggles may have been injury related. The bad news is he could have a serious injury.
