The Cincinnati Reds are currently 33-39 and in last place in the National League Central.

There have been few highlights for the Reds so far this year, although it was quite a moment when Ken Griffey Jr. became just the sixth player to hit 600 home runs.

The other highlight has been the play of hot outfield prospect Jay Bruce, who has cooled of late but has become an immediate impact player.

The pitching staff has been disappointing, with ace Aaron Harang struggling and Bronson Arroyo getting off to a very slow start.
