Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce has won the NBA Finals MVP award.

Pierce was consistently the best player on the court from both teams throughout the series, outshining Kobe Bryant is one of the biggest surprises.

Pierce not only scored nearly at will, but he did an outstanding job of guarding Bryant, frustrating him and taking him out of his game.

By winning the NBA Finals and winning the MVP award in the process, Pierce has established himself as one of the top players in the game and could eventually find himself heading to the Hall of Fame.
