Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker was found unconcious by Las Vegas police as an apparent victim of a robbery.

Walker was found lying in a street at 7:19 a.m. and was transported to the hospital for what was called significant injuries.

He remains hospitalized and there is no word on the type of injuries he sustained or how long he will be there.

The wide receiver was cut by the Denver Broncos in the offseason after a tumultous and injury-riddled stint with the team. The Raiders signed him to a major contract, hoping he could stay healthy and fulfill his promise.
