Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is ready to go on a rehab assignment after tearing his quadriceps muscle earlier in the season.

Tulowitzki was originally projected to be out until at least the All-Star break, but he is currently targeting a June 20 return to the major leagues.

The shortstop said he is really excited about how close he is to his return to the majors and can’t wait to rejoin the guys on the club.

The club can’t wait for Tulowitzki to rejoin him either despite his terrible slump to start the season. The team is hoping Tulowitzki’s bat heats up and the team follows suit.
