Some players entered in the NBA Draft are avoiding workouts with the Charlotte Bobcats, hoping that doing so will keep them from being selected by the team.

New head coach Larry Brown is amused at the thought process and said his team might just draft players that are avoiding their workouts.

Brown said it’s all about the player’s agents trying to control the draft and put their client with the team they think he will be most successful with.

The Bobcats have the No. 9 overall pick in the NBA Draft and have failed to make the playoffs since being awarded a franchise.
