The Washington Nationals have activated catcher Paul Lo Duca from the disabled list.

Lo Duca has been on the disabled list since May 9 with a broken right hand after being acquired by the team in the offseason.

In a corresponding move, the team optioned pitcher Tyler Clippard back to Triple-A Columbus.

Clippard got the start Saturday against the Seattle Mariners and pitched pretty well, picking up the victory.

Before the injury, Lo Duca was hitting just .200 with four RBI’s in 17 games.
