Houston Astros first baseman Lance Berkman is dealing with a sore left leg.

Berkman was hit by a ball below the knee last week and reaggravated the injury over the weekend.

The first baseman isn’t known as a speedster but rather for his bat, so the injury shouldn’t affect what he does best.

He was given a day off by the team on Sunday, but he was probably due one anyway and the sore leg gave the Astros an excuse to give him some rest.

The injury is not considered serious and shouldn’t cost him much time.
