The Arizona Cardinals have announced that they will not split time between their quarterbacks in 2008.

The team recently announced that Matt Leinart was going to be their starter. However, veteran quarterback Kurt Warner is expected to get a chance to compete for the job.

The team split time between the two quarterbacks last season, sometimes alternating series. They do not plan to do that again this year.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt is confident that Leinart is maturing and ready to handle the starting role, but that certainly remains to be seen.
