Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson underwent surgery on his left ankle but is expected to be ready for training camp.
Gibson sprained his ankle in the middle of the season and missed 18 games.
He also separated his shoulder in the playoffs, which cost him two critical games against the Boston Celtics, a series in which his team eventually lost in Game 7.
He averaged 10.4 points in 58 games and was the teams best outside shooter. Gibson was also one of the few players on the team that LeBron James trusted with the ball. |
