The Milwaukee Brewers are currently 49-39 and in second place in the National League East.

After starting off so strong and fading so fast in 2007, it appears the Brewers are trying the opposite approach in 2008.

The Brew Crew have caught fire over the past few weeks, launching their way back up the standings into the wild card and divisional races.

The Brewers have decided to go for it all this year and acquired ace C.C. Sabathia from the Cleveland Indians. Sabathia and Ben Sheets will form one of the top 1-2 punches in all of baseball.

The team’s biggest concern now is the back end of the bullpen, which has been a train wreck. With the acquisition of Sabathia, the Brewers are very likely to try and trade for a closer before the deadline.
