The Arizona Diamondbacks are currently 44-45 and in first place in the National League West.

The Diamondbacks began the season as baseball’s hottest team and appeared to be heading toward a fantastic year, but they have really struggled over the past month and a half.

The offense has really gone downhill, led by outfielder Justin Upton’s huge slump.

The pitching has also been hitting hard times, as Micah Owings has been terrible and Brandon Webb has really struggled in his last few outings.
