Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling said he is still unsure whether or not he will ever pitch again after undergoing surgery on his shoulder.
The surgery was deemed a success by the doctors.
Schilling has been cleared to begin his rehab program and there is a chance that he could be back sometime fairly early in the 2009 season if all goes according to plan.
However, the pitcher still has to decide whether or not he is willing to put in all of that work again on the chance that he might or might not be able to pitch again.
In addition, it remains to be seen whether any major league clubs would even be interested in a pitcher who hasnt thrown in more than a year and is heading well into his 40s. |
