The Houston Rockets made a major offseason move, acquiring forward Ron Artest from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for guard Bobby Jackson, first-round draft pick Donte Greene and a future first-round draft pick.
The Rockets were looking for a player who could compliment their duo of guard Tracy McGrady and center Yao Ming and believe Artest to be the perfect fit.
Artest, who regretted not opting out of his current deal, was esctatic at being traded to Houston. Artest described being in Houston as being like a kid in a candy store.
Meanwhile, the Kings make out well too, picking up the ultra-talented Greene and a future first-round pick. |
